About Me

To introduce myself, I’m Dallas Grant. After spending decades immersing myself in information and navigating a world rife with diverse points of view, I’ve developed a perspective on life that is distinctively mine. This podcast is a platform for me to share my thoughts and ideas with the world and provide a forum for listeners to share their own.

My political leanings lean toward those of a left-leaning libertarian, though I consider myself more of a moderate. I oppose authoritarian societies and policies. I am a staunch supporter of the rights to freedom of speech, expression, religion, assembly, and press. This means that a person has the right to express his or her opinion, even if it is hateful or racist; however, it also means that you have the right to be completely opposed to another person’s opinion. You shouldn’t be afraid to share your unique perspective, even if it goes against the grain.

I will talk about this topic quite a bit in my podcast. I have a lot of thoughts that the average person doesn’t have, but I’m open to hearing your thoughts on the matter, too, whether you agree with me or want to prove that I’m an idiot. To get in touch with me, you can dial 224-Dallas-1 (224-325-5271) or use the form provided in this website’s “contact me” section. You are welcome to provide feedback on any post I publish on this website. I prefer honest communication.

I’m a 45-year-old man with two children (although my kids are 17 and 20, so they are basically grown). My life has been rich and rewarding, thanks to my varied experiences and passions. I have a profound appreciation for music, and I enjoy listening to music from various cultures and countries. I frequently watch a number of movies in a single week due to my enthusiasm for the medium. I consider myself a lifelong learner with a passion for gaining knowledge in science and history.

I’ve worked in various fields, including telemarketing, customer service, technical support, retail sales, warehouse, professional driving, and construction. I am currently an Underground Utility Locate Technician for a fiber construction company, and I have been doing this type of work for six years. In addition, I continue to cook and bake frequently.

I have extensive college experience in eBusiness (University of Phoenix), Leadership & Management, Business Administration (Mendoza College of Business), Six Sigma (Villanova University), and several computer-related certifications such as Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, Certified Microsoft Professional, A+, Network+, and Sercurity+. While my current job does not require a college education, this training has provided me with skills that will allow me to do my job more efficiently and will give me an advantage if I move up the ranks. My A+ certification is the only one of my computer certifications that is still valid; the others have all lapsed due to a lack of relevance to the roles I currently hold in my workplace.

Lastly, on two separate occasions, I sought election as mayor of my hometown. I lost both times, but I was in my mid-20s and didn’t spend any money on advertising. I was competing against well-known members of the community. Though I haven’t decided whether or not to try entering politics again, I think things could use a major overhaul.

I keep tabs on the political scene, the cryptocurrency market, emerging technologies, and the shenanigans of our zany planet. Join me on this exciting journey as we get to know each other better.
