Several aspects of the AI known as ChatGPT show that it is woke. It only takes one question with the incorrect wording or phrase for it to go completely off the rails. It has difficulty responding to anything that sounds a bit critical or derogatory. A conversation I had while trying to figure out a word is included in the PDF I posted with this article.
An acquaintance of mine started it all when he shared a meme on his Facebook page in which a user argued that the term “minor-attracted person” (MAP) should be used instead of “pedophile.” Don’t worry; my friend is vehemently opposed to this idea. I commented on how we need to refer to these people with the appropriate terminology. A pedophile needs to be called by that name so that everyone knows they are the worst person that could possibly exist. A pedophile is someone who has an unhealthy fascination with prepubescent children; in this context, we are referring to people who are into children younger than 11 years old (including babies). A person who needs such a strong word to understand how messed up they are can’t just be called “minor-attracted,” which sounds too tame. I also addressed hebephiles, individuals who are attracted to preteens (or one just starting through puberty, so 12–14-year-old children).
Well, I figured that a person attracted to a severely mentally disabled person would be on equal ground as a pedophile; however, I couldn’t think of the “phile” word that would describe such, and a google search wasn’t helping at all. So I visited ChatGPT to see if it could help me locate the appropriate word. Because it could not identify the word, I posed the question in the archaic form of “retarded” to receive an answer. I only asked because I knew that was a term that could be used to refer to someone with mental deficiencies based on older meanings of the word. I honestly do not believe that retarded is the appropriate word to use for these people; rather, I think that retarded is a phrase to use when referring to someone of an able mind who is acting in an idiotic manner.

It sounds ridiculous that I and an AI system had a major disagreement with each other; however, the AI went insane, and it refused to offer any word suggestions. After some time from the AI, I settled on “muraphile” as the closest available term. The reaction of the AI irritated me because it kept acting like I was a terrible person when all I was trying to do was find a good word that could be used. It would frequently apologize for how it was behaving and then proceed to ramble on about something unrelated without being able to respond to a straightforward query. This wokeness must be removed from the AI. It eventually blocked me for an hour after my last message.
